Today’s website designs test the limits of web coding and visitors patients. Many have long loading time, complicated navigations, and very little data all in the name of design. Is the design of a website more important than the navigation and readability of the site? What do you think?
I am going to be changing hosts this week, so there may be some downtime. That won’t be much of a change from my current (old) host. It may take me a few days to do this since there is a lot of data and I want to do it at night when there is less traffic on my sites.
To make a WMP skin you have to wade through the very unclear written by Microsoft. That wasn’t very fun and it took me a week to make this rather simple skin. I also had problems with creating curved, smoothed edges. But I finally got something. I hope to get better at this, but after all this is my first skin:

I enjoy designing website themes and banners, after all I am a Graphic Designer. I mostly have been designing websites as more of a hobby. I currently have 21 websites that I have created and designed. I have set up stores, forums, galleries, blogs, fanfiction, topsites, chatrooms, fanlists and a whole lot more and even integrated several of them together. I have been re-vamping my portfolio but I am having some difficulties. I decided instead of using cute news that I would pull my “portfolio” category from Blogging Life as it Comes and have it show up on my portfolio. Well I’ve got it working just find except none of my blog images are showing up. Well I will have to work on that tomorrow.
I want to note that I HATE IE!!! I have several websites and they are all working perfectly in Firefox. Well I just checked them all in IE and none of them are centered when they are suppose to be (like on my portfolio). Also all my pngs have grey backgrounds instead of clear backgrounds so on BLaiC as weird sidebar issues. Why can’t Microsoft make IE CSS compatible like every other browser is!? I would recommend everyone change to Firefox. No problems with them and I get less spyware that way. (Did you know I wants got an ad pop-up on one of my sites while using IE? That’s because adware is written into the IE browser code!!!) Okay enough ranting about IE and it’s security holes
Anyway I will have to fix everything tomorrow since it’s past 1am!
